Capt.
Gary Mach is a USCG and Texas Parks and Wildlife licensed guide
who fishes East and West Matagorda Bays, the Matagorda Surf, Matagorda
Jetties, and the Colorado River. His passion is putting his clients
on fish and for them to have an all-around good time on the water!
Capt. Gary Mach puts his clients first and aims to exceed all
expectations from the moment they meet until the end of the day.
He specializes in catching speckled trout, redfish, and flounder.
You pick the time - whether it be morning, evening, or night time
fishing, Capt. Mach will be happy to accomodate you. While fishing
with Capt. Gary Mach, you will
be aboard his custom made 24' SVT Trans Cat boat powered by
a Suzuki 250HP motor. Trips depart from Matagorda Harbor, Matagorda,
Texas (map).
Capt. Gary has been fishing in Matagorda his entire life and
has found that East and West Matagorda Bays are excellent places
to fish. He knows the bay system well and loves to share his knowledge
with others, teaching them tips on how to catch fish, whether
it be drift fishing from the boat, wade fishing, or fishing with
lures or live bait. Join Capt. Gary Mach for a fun, exciting fishing

Matagorda Bay Fishing -
Our Matagorda Bay fishing trips offer some
of the finest fishing available on the entire Texas Gulf Coast.
We fish the waters of Matagorda Bay, Matagorda Jetties, and the
Colorado River.
Matagorda Fishing -
We fish for Speckled Trout, Red Fish, Sheep's
Head, Black Drum, Triple Tail, and various other saltwater species.
Matagorda Fishing Trips -
We can offer Matagorda Texas fishing charters
that will challenge the most experienced angler fishing with artificial
bait, but we also offer fishing trips for the novice fisherman
using both live and artificial bait. Your
captain has the experience and patience required to make your
Matagorda Bay fishing trip one that you will always remember and
sure to want to repeat!

Flounder Gigging Trips
$600 for three persons
Additional Person - $50.00
(max. of 4 persons)
Bay Fishing Trips
- Half Day Trip - $600
- Full Day Trip - $700
Rates are for 1-3 persons**.
Additional person is $50.
Live bait is extra
cost and not included in the fishing trip rates.
There is a deposit of $100 required
to book a trip. The deposit is refundable if weather conditions
do not permit fishing.
**Families and groups are welcomed.
For large groups, we can have additional boats available.
* Guided
trip rates are subject to change. It is always a good idea to
call to confirm current trip rates. These trip rates are for 1-3
persons. We can accomodate up to four persons. For the enjoyment
of our clients and safety, we find that three to four persons
is usually most suitable for these Matagorda fishing charters.

Some things to keep in mind when planning your trip:
During the morning, seas
are usually calmer and therefore more suitable for children.
Think realistically about how long you will want to spend
on the water.
Whether a half or full day, the fishing will be great!
